Cement Render

Cement rendering is the application of a thin premixed surface of sand, cement and lime to brick, cement, stone or mud brick. It is often textured, coloured or painted after application. It is generally used on exterior walls but can be used to feature an interior wall. Depending on the 'look' required, rendering can be fine or coarse, textured or smooth, natural or coloured, pigmented or painted. The cement rendering of brick, concrete and mud houses has been used for centuries to improve the appearance (and sometimes weather resistance) of exterior walls. It can be seen in different forms all over Australia. Different countries have their own style and traditional colours.

Texture Coating

Texture coating ready to use products are the most popular finishes among residential builders & homeowners. These are easy to apply flexible full acrylic texture coating system that can accommodate cement render daily stresses caused by expansion and contraction from temperature changes. Acrylic Texture coatings protect against alkali attack and won't shrink or crack over rendered substrates. These finishes deliver the most uniform, even finish to ensure complete mortar joint blockout Elastomeric Coatings; they deliver a semi smooth paint look in a "highly flexible protective seamless coating layer" with cross-linking & crack bridging technology and surface integrity that protects the building substrate.

Acrylic Rendering

(Acrylic render) was actually the limitation and failings of cement renders resulting in the development of what we now know as Acrylic render Systems. Those problems still exist today with cement render.Cement Renders are inherently hard and brittle - prone to cracking and efflorescence staining. There is a wide range of trowel applied Acrylic systems that deliver the contemporary render style your planning for but with Flexible Acrylic technology that won't crack and delamaminate.

White set traditional lime plaster

Lime has been used for building for over 7000 years. Its uses include Roman civil engineering structures, medieval cathedrals and castles. Major 19th century industrial and engineering structures were built completely with lime mortars and plasters - including lighthouses, harbours and canals, and domestic buildings. Most of London is built with lime. White set lime plaster is usually used on heritage building to match existing finishes.

Proyalbi New Genrration White Set

Proyalbi is a pre packed, quality controlled fine powdered off white render, that mixed with water can be applied by projection machinery or by hand, directly onto brick, AAC and concrete walls etc.It has the unique ability of being able to be applied at various thicknesses from 1 to 100mm in one coating, and yet will not display the usual sand and cement weaknesses such as cracking, herringboning and drumminess. It can be applied and finished at a much faster rate than traditional render and set applications. Due to the nature of building sites, set walls are often damaged by other trades. This is a major problem with traditional set finishes but not with Proyalbi and Fino Plus, as a quick skim of Fino Plus over damaged areas leaves the surface ready for painting saving time and money.
